Are you excited? I am!

I really wanted to do this and since I do not have a YouTube channel, I decided to do the TMI (Too Much Information) Tag on here since I haven't written anything in some time and yeah, lets get started!

1: What are you wearing? I am currently wearing my new dressing gown from Primark with the cute hood with ears on and eeeee so cute!! I'm also wearing my pyjamas cause I'm having a lazy day..

2: Ever been in love? Nope!

3: Ever had a terrible breakup? No not really, everyone cries at a breakup so, I guess thats as bad as it got..?

4: How tall are you? I am a very short 5"2!

5: How much do you weigh? No idea, somewhere between 9 and 10 stone haha

6: Any tattoos? No! I reaaallllyyyy want some tattoos but I can't get myself to go through the pain..

7: Any piercings? Ears!

8: OTP? Ron and Hermione duh.

 9: Favorite show? Probably either Made in Chelsea or American Horror Story 

10: Favorite bands? I LOVE McFly more than life, mostly because I am in love with Tom and Dougie but whatever… Other than that I don't really listen to bands, I prefer solo artists such as Ariana Grande or Demi Lovato, girls that can SAAAAAAAAAAANG!!!!

11: Something you miss? I miss school? Kinda the lessons and my old friends and how easy life was back then..

12: Favorite song? Hmmm either Demi Lovato - Skyscraper or any thing Ariana Grande haha..

13: How old are you? I am 19 and 7 months old..

14: Zodiac sign? Taurus! 

15: Quality you look for in a partner? Has to be funny and needs to have a sarcastic sense of humour.

16: Favorite Quote? 

17: Favorite actor? Leonardo DiCaprio and Jim Carrey.

18: Favorite color? Oooooh this is hard! Either Tiffany blue, baby pink or black.

19: Loud music or soft? Loud!!! Music is always good loud at night with your headphones in.

20: Where do you go when you’re sad? The internet! haha how sad.

21: How long does it take you to shower? Approx three songs.. I've timed it.

22: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning? 15 - 20 minutes lately.

23: Ever been in a physical fight? Nope!

24: Turn on? Stubbbblllleeeeeeeeeeeeee! And a sense of humour so I can make fun of them and have them not take offence, and also someone that can last a decent conversation in person and over text.

25: Turn off? Ughhhh ignorance, stupidity, rude, self absorbed. 

26: The reason I joined Youtube? I don't have YouTube but I joined blogger because I love to write down whatever is running around inside my little head.

27: Fears? SPIDERS, clowns (sometimes) and the colour orange, I hate it.

28: Last thing that made you cry? Probably the song 'Fantine's Death' in Les Misérables.

30: Meaning behind your YouTube Name? No YouTube but my blog name is sophieannegriffiths which is my name and the name of my blog My Little Life is basically my way of telling you or anyone that reads this, whatever I'm thinking of.

31: Last book you read? The last book I finished was 'Billy & Me' by Giovanna Fletcher.

41: Last time you were insulted? I don't even know the last time I was, maybe around May?

42: Favorite flavor of sweet? Just anything that is red, strawberry, raspberry or cherry.

43: What instruments do you play?? I don't play any :( BUT BUT BUT when I was in primary school, I was a real pro on the flute ;)

44: Favorite piece of jewellery? My crystal heart earrings and my Time Turner from London!

45: Last sport you played? Does going up and down the stairs count?

49: Last time you hung out with anyone? Maybe when I went to town to get drunk with my friends last week or the week before? hahahah sad.

November Favourites!

♡ GOODBYE NOVEMBER AND HELLO DECEMBER! ♡

IT'S FINALLY THE MONTH OF CHRISTMAS!
This gives me permission to be jolly and Christmassy now right? 

It has been months since my last post and I do apologise!! There hasn't been many favourites to put down every month to fill up a blog post and I thought I may aswell throw them all into this one!! :)

MAKEUP & BEAUTY!!

CONCEALER: I have been loving these two concealers as a sub for the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer since that has been sold out literally everywhere in my colour! First off is the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer in the shade 'Ivory' as always, the Anti-Fatigue Effect & Radiant Glow description literally doesn't give it enough justice! Got ugly eye bags in the morning? USE THIS!! It is a godsend, believe me! The second is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in the shade '10' (practically Ivory), this concealer, next to the Collection one, has the best coverage ever, it is perfect to go under your eyes and on any blemishes or redness, it blends amazingly and ugh, just get it!! P.S. I now have the Collection concealer in my possession! :D

FOUNDATION: Okay, it's not actually a foundation yet it sets just like one, again it is the All In One BB Cream from The Body Shop in the shade '00' (again, the palest one), it is a tinted cream which blends to your skin colour which is great if you're having a lazy makeup day and when you just wanna lounge around and still feel confident about your facial skin…. We all wanna look good for ourselves sometimes don't we?

EYESHADOW: This month, my absolute favourite eyeshadow product has been the Naked 3 Palette!!  I have had this for months and have never used it due to the fact it has all pink/warmer toned shades but since it is winter now and more colder (obviously), it goes perfectly with bronzed cheeks and thin eyeliner with nice long lashes, it makes the cutest winter look ever. I use 'Strange' all over the lid up to the brow bone, 'Nooner' in the creases, a little bit of 'Factory' in the outer crease to add more dimension and if I'm feeling a little more festive, I'll just add a tiny bit of 'Trick' very lightly on top of the lid.

MASCARA: I have had the biggest dilemma with my favourite mascara in the whole world. The wand on my Kate Rimmel Mascara has broken off :'( So in its place, I have had to use the Danni Minogue Extension Mascara, and so far, I am loving it paired with the Lash Fibres in the same collection.

NAIL POLISH: Oh my god!!!! I have been in love with the Barry M nail polishes for a long time now and recently I came across the Aquarium Collection and oooommmgggggg!!!!!! I got one in the colour 'Arabian' and it literally makes you feel like the Little Mermaid with its green and blue shimmers and gold undertones that show amazingly in sunlight. 

HAIR PRODUCTS!

I have been loving a new product (for me, may not be for you),  which is the Schwarzkopf Got2B Powder'ful Volumizing Styling Powder. I have been looking for something to make my hair more poofy without backcombing it, making my hair practically fall out since I'm trying to grow it out which I do not need right now, and since my hair is super flat, this stuff is bloody amazing! It feels super weird in your hands but apart from that, my hair has been super big and it doesn't seem my hair greasy or dewy which is just, great haha you get what I mean.

MOVIE OF THE MONTH: Horns was probably the best film I have seen this month, it has a confusing-ish story to it and its also one of those that you need to guess who the killer is, we all love a good thriller don't we?

MUSICAL OF THE MONTH: Les Misérables!!! 

TV SERIES: American Horror Story has found its way back in here with Freakshow! Its super interesting and not so scary to those that refuse to watch it because of the 'scary' clown, watch it!! 

SPOILER ALERT, he dies, so you're safe okay?

Also another series I have kinda fallen in love with is The Walking Dead!!!?!!! I know I am late on the craze but so far I understand it due to the fact I haven't watched any other series', but I am in love with Rick and his beard.

CLOTHING ITEM OF THE MONTH: If you know me, you'll know that my clothing item of the month is my Hogwarts hoodie from Amazon! SOOO COZY!!

STYLE ICON OF THE MONTH: Obviously Ariana, with the hair and that.. yeah..

TECHNOGOLY: I am in love with my iPhone 6!!!! It is gold and just perfect hehehehee...

OBSESSION OF THE MONTH: Ariana Grande's album, 'My Everything'. I have listened to it everyday since it came out, her voice is amazing.

HATE OF THE MONTH: Breakouts on my face arghhhhhhh :'(

Okay so thats about it!! I hope you enjoyed this blog post since its been like, three, four, five hundred months since my last one… I promise to write more and I will see you again, possibly in the New Year with a new favourites!!

To My Fifteen/Sixteen Year Old Self.

Hello me, four years ago..!

Well, how's your second year of your second high school going? Pretty great huh? Yep, all new classes, friends, relationships, etc.. It couldn't be any better right?

Hahaha, how wrong were we? SO WRONG.

First things first, those 'friends'? GET RID OF THEM!
You won't need them in four years, believe me.

Bullying will still happen, by your 'friends' but you won't notice it.

Secondly, Boys. Your first 'relationship' is coming soon, and it will be soooooo worthless and boring but you will feel on top of the world, but yeah, it will be pointless. BUT it's gonna be a sad time for you and you WILL get over him, casually, oh and you maybe shouldn't have used him to dump someone else cause of the F word.. (ew Feelings..), slightly mean but guess what, it was mutual and it didn't even matter anyway.

GCSE's will SUCK! All those year 11's telling you that they are SOOO HARD and that you will probably FAIL LIFE.. But guess what bitch, they won't mean anything when you get older, unless you wanted to be a mathematician or a doctor, and lets be honest, not gonna happen that is it? But guess what, you will get into college and thats all that counts at that moment in time right?

Okay, I know what you're going through right now is (kind of) stressful, but guess what! It's gonna get a teeny bit worse.. Your life will change, both educational and personal and it is going to be a living hell.

Ayyyyy you're sixteen!!!! Woo frikkin hoo eh?

Harry Potter ended this year.. and you will really really REALLY care in three years time.. You're gonna care like, WAAAAAY too much. Sorry not sorry.

GCSE's are done and you passed some stuff that won't mean anything at all.. College is just around the corner and it's gonna get SUPER SUCKY.

What you wanted for years is happening finally, but just stick together because it will be super hard for everyone, The things you've witnessed will be the worst thing probably in your teenage life and I know it's difficult to keep slightly civil right now but just hang in there for a few weeks, as hard as it may be. You're gonna feel sooo depressed and lonely for a few months but I PROMISE you that it will get so much better!

You and your family will be super close, super protective and you're gonna get super weird.. and you're gonna fricking love it.

Your friends will drift off, relationships will break apart and you have never been so mentally strong with all the bullshit thats been going on. Be proud of yourself.

You look great, do not worry about your weight cause girl, you're way skinnier there than you are now and by the way, we still look pretty good, even with the extra chunks of timber in the right places.

Family is all that matters right now and honestly I wish I could show you how your life will get greater, new jobs, new friends, best friends even that you haven't even met yet!

You're gonna see the world from a crazy new perspective and you will love it.

But please, sort those eyebrows out, for the sake of humanity and by the way, eat better!

Yup, your health will go down the drains next year!!

Harry Potter Tag!

Ello there!!

Been a while hasn't it my lovelies! 

No monthly favourites this month due to the fact I haven't really got anything good and genuine to share with you and a boring blog isn't great is it..

So if you know me, you'll know that I absolutely LOVE everything Harry Potter whether its facts to spells, characters to houses etc etc ettttcccccc….. So, I found a Harry Potter Tag online and decided to share it with you to make up for the absence of August Favourites!

What is your favourite book in the series?

I haven't read all of them! Just one and it's the first book, so the first book...

What is your favourite movie? 

The Half Blood Prince! You learn a lot about the whole plot of the films and it is more darker than the last 5 films.

What is your least favourite book in the series? 

I don't like The Prisoner of Askaban that much so I'd say that even though I haven't read it..

What parts in the books/movies made you cry? 

DOBBYS DEATH! :(

In the second film when Hagrid is late to the great hall ceremony and everyone hugs him and he's all :'( and then I'm all :'(

Who is your favourite character?

My RonRon!!

What would your Patronus be?

I took a little quiz on this and apparently my patronus is a fox, which is actually quite accurate since you hardly ever see a fox until night, and I'm usually seen at night too haha!

I'd like to see myself with a little family, with a good job and to just be happy in myself.

Invisibility Cloak by a mile! You could sneak onto planes and go abroad for free, go wherever, sneak around, there's not much else you can do with an invisibility cloak really is there..

Oh my god there is loads!! Dobby, Dumbledore, Fred, Lupin and Nymphadora, Snape...

According to Pottermore, I am in Slytherin! 

If you could meet one member of the movie cast, who would it be?

I'd love to meet Emma Watson, purely because her character grew with me and she proved that being smart can save the day.

I'd rather just be in the crowd, if that..

What is you favourite spell?

Alohomora and Accio, two most laziest spells ever. Although Avis could be pretty where you conjure little birds.

What character would you like to date/marry? 

My RonRon OBVIOUSLY.

What would your job be in the magical world? 

I'd like to teach Charms in Hogwarts.

What character resembles you the most (both by looks and personality)? 

I don't think I look like any of them, but I'd say I'm quite 'not-all-there' like Luna Lovegood.

Which character did you want to play in the movies? 

Hermione! I used to crimp my hair with my stupid little hair stylers and I always had the fringe! 

Were you happy with the ending of the series?

Yes and no, yes because you see everyone 19 years later with their families, seeing their children go to Hogwarts for the first time, the trio back together and also Harry and Draco are still civil. No because of the way Voldemort dies, they should've stayed true to the book.

How much does Harry Potter mean to you?

It means a lot, not because of the films and books, but because Jo Rowling put her life and experiences into the series, finding out Latin words for spells etc. They're always great to turn to when you're down. 

Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.

I'M A DOG PERSON I LOVE DOGS AND PUPPIES AND THEY'RE THE CUTEST.

2) If you could only wear leggings or jeans for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

Leggings! I'm wearing them now and I own probably about 8 pairs cause I wear them almost everyday if it's not a PJ day!

This is a hard one between Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande.

4) What's a weird/ unusual thing you eat?

I like to have mash potato, with ketchup.

5) Annoying habits?

I click my fingers whenever they get stiff.. which is a lot.

6) Favourite snack food?

Crisps, crisps, crisps.

7) You're at a theme park, are you the bag holder or the thrill seeker?!

Thrill seeker! I will go on almost any ride, apart from a haunted house or ghost train.

8) Nail varnish vs. no nail varnish

I'm very lazy with nail varnish, so if my nails are short, I will never wear it because I'd rather not show off stumpy nails.

Ew.

9) Do you collect any weird things?

I like to collect perfume bottles, they're soooo prettyyyyyyy!

10) Guilty pleasure TV show?

I'd say friends, but I've put that in a previous blog post, so I think my most hidden TV show that I watch is probably Power Puff Girls whenever it's on..

11) Are you a book worm or do you prefer the film versions? 

It completely depends, I love films until I find out that it is based on a book, I then buy the book and never read it.. The only book - film I've ever read is The Fault in our Stars and I very much prefer the book to the film, but otherwise, I prefer films.

July Favourites

♡ GOODBYE JULY AND HELLO AUGUST! ♡

How FAST has this month gone?! It's the beginning of the summer holidays and the weather has been all over the place! 30 degrees one day and 15 the next! Ahhh Britain!

Okay, this months favourites was supposed to be mega cool but stuff got canceled and I don't have many favourites this month so I do apologise :(

MAKEUP & BEAUTY!

MASCARA: I've been loving the Kate Moss mascara from Rimmel London! It has the coolest brush ever and it adds so much volume and also separates your lashes perfectly, almost fairy-ish haha! (what?)

EYESHADOW: This month, the Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay has been my go to product this month! I use the same colours almost everyday and I am just obsessed!! I use 'Foxy' all over my eyelid, then use 'Half Baked' just above my eyelashes and then 'Tease' & 'Snakebite' in my crease! It's such a natural look and its super easy! If you don't understand what colour these names are, go get a palette and try it out!

EYEBROWS: I have also been using the Naked 2 Palette for my eyebrows as my archery pencil from Soap & Glory has nearly ran out! So for my eyebrows in the daytime, I have been using the shorter brush that comes with the palette! I will either use 'Snakebite' or 'Busted' in the daytime, whereas at night to make my makeup look more night-time-ee? I will add some of 'Blackout' to the arch and the start of my brow! 

NAIL POLISH: I have two this month which I have been LOVING SO SO MUCH!! First is by Barry M in the Gelly section! The colour is Sugar Apple and it's just the perfect summery colour ever and also it is very close to my favourite colour! Second is from Essie! I've had this one for a while but only recently come to appreciate it! It's called Bikini So Teeny and its like a gluey-purple colour, kind of a periwinkle colour! 

BRONZER: I think I have mentioned it before but this bronzer has been my most favourite one this month. It is from Bourjois Paris Délice de Poudre Bronzing Powder in the shade 52! With the right brush, it looks so natural and makes you look so sun kissed!

BODY: This body butter is soooooo nice! The Body Shop's Almond body butter. it's heaven in a tub.

PERFUME!

I have had this one for so long that I have forgotten what the actual name for it is! It's Rihanna's perfume with the black pattern on the bottle, I'm useless with names, I know.

RANDOMS!

June Favourites

♡ GOODBYE JUNE AND HELLO JULY! ♡

I do apologise that this blog is going to be fairly short due to me being very very low on money, so here are my favourite things that I have been loving in the month of June!

MAKEUP & BEAUTY!

CONCEALER: So I went shopping for some more concealer as the Collection Lasting Perfection one if my absolute favourite and like I said in my previous favourites blog, is it ALWAYS sold out, so I opted for a different one! I ended up getting (after about 10 minutes of choosing) the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream in the shade 31 Ivory. At first I was wary about t getting this because most Bourjois products suck on my skin because they are so rich in quality and gloomy etc, but this concealer is super good, even though it is Ivory, it adds some colour to me without making me look like an oompa loompa with an orange face, plus it smells really good too, which is a weird thing to say.. It is super easy to apply so for most days, I have been using it for a foundation too! It also hydrates your skin so it is great for summer!

BLUSH: I mentioned this in my last blog but I thought I’d add it in this one too because I have been using it EVERYDAY! It is the Soap & Glory Love At First Blush – Blush? Haha! With it being super hot (which is weird because Britian is just a rainy country, never mind Wales!!) so instead of caking on a bunch of makeup, I’ve literally just been using the concealer I have just mentioned, some powder (cause who wants a sticky face?) some bronzer and blush for the cheeks to make it look like I’ve made effort when I absolutely haven’t! (IM BLABBERING ON NOW OOPS!!)

MASCARA: I have also been using this mascara every day and it is the They’re Real by Benefit! I had a sample of this mascara maybe about a year ago and I loved it then, but when I bought my bigger and better tube I had moved on to a different mascara and now that that one has gone, I am now completely OBSESSED with this mascara! Who needs false lashes when you have this?!

NAIL POLISH: I haven’t been wearing much nail polish lately and I decided to make an effort with the weather being so so so nice so I opted for Tanya Burr’s nail varnish in Little Duck and I love it, it dries almost instantly and the Tiffany Blue colour is one of my favourites so if you love nail polishes, go get some from Tanya’s brand!

TEETH: This is super weird talking about tooth care but I have seriously fallen head over heels with this toothpaste!! It is the Pearl Drops Toothpolish in Icemint Gel Flavour and it whitens your teeth almost instantly, its super cheap and it is just a godsend.

HAIR PRODUCTS!

HAIR DYE: I got bored a couple weeks ago and decided to ditch the blonde/pinky tips on my hair and go for a blue/green colour, so I popped to boots and got a couple of colours from the Bleach London stand. The colours that I got were Blullini (a baby blue colour) and Sea Punk (a light green apple colour) I mixed the two colours together and so far they’ve stayed the same colour and it is super pretty!

HAIR ‘SPRAYS’: I’ve been at home pretty much everyday this week doing nothing but chilling in the sun and just chilling in general (perks of no job woo! -_- ) I have been using the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Cherry! I do wash my hair a lot but with it being sunny, my hair is the worst frizzer ever and this dry shampoo calms it down a lot! Love it soooo much!

PERFUME!

I got a little perfume which I think I’m in love with from The Body Shop and it is just the strawberry one that comes in a 30ml bottle and its super fruity and fresh!

RANDOMS!

YANKEE CANDLE OF THE MONTH: Vanilla Cupcake.

SONG OF THE MONTH: 5 Seconds of Summer – Don’t Stop.

MOVIE OF THE MONTH: THE FAULT IN OUR STARS!!! I cried most probably about five times and the tears came like a fricking waterfall!!! Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone.

BOOK OF THE MONTH:  The Fault in our Stars by John Green, highly recommended (I am in love with Augustus Waters)!

OBSESSION OF THE MONTH: Chicken! Whether is nuggets or a healthy chicken breast! mmmmm!!! Oh and kittens!!!

TV SERIES: I have been super into F.R.I.E.N.D.S. again and I just love it.

DRINK: haha this is so simple but Lemonade!

HATE OF THE MONTH: BOREDOM!

Just 50 facts wasn’t enough so here are 25 more with a ‘this or that’ section!

1. I am single and have been for about four years!!

2. I have green eyes!

3. The only meat I eat is chicken, but on special occasions such as a chippy day, I will eat pork. (and yes I LOVE bacon)

4. I have seen Justin Bieber in concert, don’t judge me, I was about 15 and absolutely clueless.

5. I have a YouTube channel with about 5 videos on of me and friends, but you must be mega special to know the username for that account!!

6. I go through approximately 3-4 candles a month.

7. I always get mouth ulcers when I’m stressed, and when I do get them, they come in packs.

8. I used to have a slight allergy to pineapples, I’m not sure I am now though..

9. I despise the taste of anything citrusy, such as orange juice, anything lemon, peachy, pineapple-y, grapefruity etc, the only citrus I do like are limes, only in drinks.

10. I have an obsession with stealing pretty forks from restaurants, I tried not to take one from the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour, instead I just sat on one of the long benches in the great hall.

11. I am proud to say that I can spell some long and stupid words, but I had to use autocorrect to spell ‘restaurants’ just then.

12. My hair colour is currently brown with ombre’d blue and green tips!!

13. I would do anything in the world to go to Disney World in Florida.

14. I have four Harry Potter posters in my room and the tickets to the studio tour, next to a wall of my childhood photos.

15. I colour my dogs hair pink every now and again.

16. I am still yet to read ‘The Fault in our Stars’.

17. My favourite Disney princess is Ariel! Followed very closely by Elsa because we are very similar, only I don’t have ice powers…

18. My favourite supernoodle flavour is, obviously, chicken!

19. I used to love watching The Powerpuff Girls when I was little!

20. I used to have a Sega Megadrive when I was bout 4/5 years old and I want one again so badly!!

21. My favourite nail polish brands are Essie and Rimmel London’s 60 Second range.

22. The wallpaper on my iPad and laptop is of pepperoni pizza.

23. I am obsessed with Millie’s Cookies.

24. I have seen The Phantom of the Opera live in London and it was mindblowingly amazing! I highly recommend it if you happen to be going to covent garden anytime soon!

25. I never wear pyjama pants to sleep in!!
