JUST SAY YES

Okay, I know it's been a while since my last post (four months exactly, oops..) but I'm back now! I will be uploading my monthly favourites soon which will include favourites from both Christmas and the last few months because I'm the biggest failure of a blogger ever, so with that being said, I've decided to show you guys some of my goals for the year and not resolutions because it's a little bit late for that!

My motto for the year so far has been "Just Say Yes" as the lovely Zoella from YouTube says a lot, since last year I chickened out from doing almost anything from going out to a meal to going out of Wales and just meeting new people.

These are the things I have Just Said Yes to..
  • Overcoming my hatred of the colour Orange, I just recently bought a nail polish that is the colour of a pale tangerine! I'm still yet to wear it though..
  • More exercise! Okay, I'm not going to the gym or going jogging (I legit have the worlds most weakest ankles, I can't run up the stairs without twisting them…) I've not been lifting weights (wrists the same as ankles, but not the running part, that's just weird.) but I've been doing stretching and yoga before bed lately and it may not be much but it makes you feel so much better in yourself.
  • Less junk food!! Okay, I have been eating less sugary stuff but to be honest, writing this part with a Kinder Egg next to you doesn't exactly help.
  • Meeting friends! My bestest friend whom I met through the tinterweb almost 4/5ish years ago came down here and stayed at my house for a full weekend! Last year it would've scared me so much to just have even met up with my Chummy with my nerves and social awkwardness but it felt so comfortable and I don't know why we didn't do it sooner!
  • I got into, probably, my first grown up relationship. It didn't last long but for me to say that I actually did it makes me feel, well, grown up? (wow.) If you know me, the world of 'dating' scares me. A lot, because it either leads to marriage or heartbreak. If you have been reading my blogs you will have known that I have NEVER been in love, nor do I intend to at this given time. I realised the other day that I chicken out when I get scared and just tell the truth straight out. I never seem to be ready for one, and for some people thats never enough of a reason to end something.
  • I went to London, without my Mum?????? Yep, I went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in January with said 'relationship' above. I don't know if I'm too close to my family but it was such a huge deal to go somewhere without them.
  • Rekindle old friendships. We all drift apart from high school/college friends and it never hurt anyone to start a little conversation with people you have shared your deepest secrets or little jokes with.
  • Smile more to strangers. This will sound so cheesy but a smile can make someones day, whether it's some guy that looks like they're having a bad time, or an old woman that thinks you're a teenage thug thats going to rob them. Like love, I am as violent as a fluffy cloud, ur ok… :)

Here are some things I want to Say Yes to in the future.
  • Travel more.
  • Lose weight.
  • Be more creative with my hair.
  • Try jogging.
  • Wear shorts!
  • Learn to like my flaws.
  • Meet new people.
  • SEE MY CHUMMY AGAIN.
  • Go to college.
  • Go to London to see Les Mis.
  • Find a job doing something I love.
  • Find my own place?
  • Be with someone that will push me to do what I wanna do in life.
  • Don't feel bad for things that turn out not the way you wanted it to.
  • Become less awkward.
  • Become more confident.
  • Wear more coloured clothes!
  • Try to care more about situations, I seem to not be fazed in the slightest when people try to insult me, I just don't have a heart okay?!
  • Find more hobbies!
  • AS LAME AS IT SOUNDS, I really want to just lie down with someone and look at the stars or watch the sunset. I think I just wanna live in a movie?
  • Go outside more.
  • Catch a real tan without dying of heat.
  • Go on holiday!
  • Go back to the Studio Tour (Hogwarts Express duh!)
  • Write more blog posts!!!

So that's it, my goals for 2015 so far!

I hope you enjoyed this post since it is my first one of the year,
*hides face in disappointment*
